Mark Egbert is an experienced Resource Management Specialist and has over 25 years of experience working with all levels of government and community. As a native of El Dorado County, he provides guidance on planning, policy, administration, program development and technical assistance for programs ranging from k-12 education to landscape scale watershed management programs. His experience in a multitude of areas including Dam Remediation, Soil and Water Resource Management, Forest Landscape Restoration Programs, Environmental Education, Coordinated Resource Planning, Ecological Monitoring and Assessment, Community Based Resource Management, and Biomass Utilization. The accomplishments have been recognized by the California Farm Bureau, County Board of Supervisors, California Assembly, Senate, and the United States Congress.

Maia is a Professional Geologist with a background in surface and groundwater conservation, agricultural consulting, viticulture, and winemaking. She lives in Georgetown, where she was born and raised, and enjoys exploring the wilderness of El Dorado County and beyond with her dog. Maia is happy to partner with private landowners and public agencies to plan, coordinate, and implement forest, crop, and rangeland practices that support the health of our natural resources and allow our communities to thrive
Bennett Quidachay

Bennett was born and raised in El Dorado County. He graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Urban Ecology, Minor in Dark Sky Studies, and a GIS certificate. During his free time, Bennett enjoys playing drums and spending time outdoors skiing, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, and camping with friends and family. After graduating from the University of Utah, Bennett witnessed the destruction of the Caldor Fire on communities in El Dorado County and decided that he wanted to work in forestry. Bennett enjoys working at the RCD to help protect communities and natural resources from the destruction of catastrophic wildfires as well as working to restore forest health and ecology through forest management practices.

Courtney has lived in El Dorado County for 30 years. Though her jobs have varied over the years she has found that every job has one thing in common. Relationships. Every interaction is an opportunity to build trust which enables a successful outcome. Courtney enjoys helping people and volunteering in the community. Outside of work she loves exploring the great outdoors. Her happy place is hiking in the Sierras or kayaking in a mountain lake.
