Request for Proposals: Kelsey Fuels Load Reduction Project
The Georgetown Divide RCD has posted a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Kelsey Fuels Load Reduction Project. We are currently seeking bids from contractors interested in supplying all labor, equipment and materials to complete the scope of work, which is focused on wildfire fuels reduction.
The goal of this project is to create a shaded fuel break along a ~3.5 mile stretch of Shoo Fly Rd., approximately 40′ wide on each side on private lands and not to exceed 200′ on public lands. It is funded through a grant that the Georgetown Divide Fire Safe Council was awarded by the California State Fire Safe Council.
