Ponderosa Post- Fire Erosion Documents. Documents provided by Sierra Pacific Industries.
Linked are two documents –one an Executive Summary –the other a longer methods paper that includes preliminary data from the Ponderosa Post-Fire Erosion Study. Both documents are embedded with videos/images/web links. The result of these studies provide some valuable information on a range of best management practices that may be utilized to reduce hill slope erosion and help reduce water quality impacts from fires. These documents are also available on the SPI Web page.
